Is Lang Xianping's theory reliable?
Whether Lang Xianping's theory is reliable depends on whether he is talking about finance or economy.

As an excellent financial economist, most of Lang Xianping's financial theories are reliable.

But Lang Xianping is by no means an excellent economist, and his economic theory is actually more emotional.

From the layman's point of view, finance and economics seem to be very similar, but experts know that the difference between finance and economics is great.

Lang Xianping's tenured professorship (associate professor) was obtained at new york University. He has published more than ten papers in American top journals such as AER, JF and JFE, and some of them are even required reading papers for future generations in the field of corporate governance.

What is the concept of AER? Tens of thousands of economists around the world are staring at this journal. Domestic scholars can basically evaluate professors if they can send an article, and three or five articles are basically the right to speak in the industry. If Daniel had not received complete academic training in a famous American university, it would be basically impossible for him to publish papers in these journals.

Therefore, Lang Xianping's foundation in corporate governance and corporate finance is actually very deep. In some respects, he can even be said to have made groundbreaking research.

However, Lang Xianping, as an economist, especially a macroeconomic economist, can be said to be unqualified.

In macroeconomic analysis, it is no problem for Lang Xianping to use statistical data for empirical research or to verify whether a certain theory or hypothesis is established. However, when it comes to the deep-seated operation mechanism and mechanism of macroeconomics, his weakness without professional training in economics is clearly exposed. For example, although Lang Xianping's views on monetary policy and industry integration are sharp, they are all true, more like populist complaints and radical views than mature views of scholars.

Therefore, there are also views that Lang Xianping's economic views and theories are not based on academic research, but on audience research.

To put it bluntly, credibility is not the point at all. The point is that you want to believe.
