Xiangnan College originated from the Third Normal School for Women in Hunan Province, and was founded in 19 12, with a history of 109. In 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Chenzhou Normal University, Chenzhou Medical College, Chenzhou Education College and Chenzhou Normal University merged to form a comprehensive full-time undergraduate college.
