High school enrollment adheres to the principles of openness, fairness and justice, and recruits new students based on the evaluation results of junior high school students' comprehensive quality and the results of junior high school academic level examination (senior high school entrance examination). The results of junior high school level examination (senior high school entrance examination) are presented in the form of scores or grades.
(A) ordinary high school enrollment plan
1. Plan type and allocation ratio
The enrollment plan of public ordinary high schools includes independent enrollment (art and sports) plan and unified enrollment (including index students) plan. The proportion of index students in public ordinary high schools accounts for about 60% of the general enrollment plan in the unified enrollment plan.
Laiwu District and Gangcheng District Education and Sports Bureau will allocate them to junior high schools in the district with reference to the implementation level of compulsory education last year and the number of graduates this year (the specific allocation plan will be notified separately). Art sports enrollment does not implement the index student method.
2. Plan management
The enrollment plan for ordinary high schools is arranged by the Municipal Education Bureau in combination with the educational development needs of the whole city, Laiwu District and Gangcheng District. Municipal ordinary high school enrollment plan issued by the Municipal Education Bureau; The enrollment plan of ordinary high schools affiliated to each district shall be implemented by the education administrative departments of each district according to the enrollment requirements of the Municipal Education Bureau.
Class size should be strictly controlled when enrolling students in ordinary senior high schools. In principle, there are no more than 50 students in each class in grade one, and large classes with 56 or more students are strictly prohibited.
3. Enrollment scope
Laiwu District is a senior high school (Fengcheng High School and Laiwu No.2 Middle School), which mainly enrolls students in Laiwu District. Gangcheng District is a senior middle school (Laiwu No.4 Middle School), which mainly enrolls students in Gangcheng District. The municipal high schools (Laiwu No.1 Middle School, Laiwu No.17 Middle School and Laiwu Steel High School) enroll students in Laiwu District and Gangcheng District.
The enrollment plans of Laiwu No.1 Middle School, Laiwu No.17 Middle School and Laiwu Steel High School are allocated to Laiwu District and Gangcheng District according to the number of students in the school area, the scale of running schools and the actual enrollment situation in previous years.
Enrollment scope of private ordinary high schools: junior high schools in Laiwu District and Gangcheng District. Enrollment outside the above areas shall be implemented according to the relevant requirements of the Provincial Department of Education.
(B) after junior high school vocational education enrollment plan

Five-year higher vocational education after junior high school (five-year consistent higher vocational education and "32" continuous higher vocational education, the same below) and five-year higher normal education (five-year consistent higher vocational education and "32" continuous primary education and preschool education, the same below) enrollment plans are reviewed and issued by the Provincial Department of Education, and the Municipal Education Bureau announces them to the public.
The enrollment plan for secondary vocational education (general secondary school, vocational secondary school, adult secondary school, vocational high school and technical school, the same below) shall be compiled by the District Education and Sports Bureau or the relevant competent department in conjunction with the school, and issued after being reported to the Municipal Education Bureau for approval. The education administrative departments and enrollment schools in all districts implement the enrollment majors and plans approved by the provincial and municipal planning management departments.
2. The scope of students.
Vocational education schools after junior high school recruit students for Laiwu District and Gangcheng District. The enrollment plan, major, code, school address and enrollment scope of each school can be inquired in the unified enrollment platform of senior high schools (including technical schools) in the city.
3. Student source requirements.
Candidates who apply for five-year higher vocational education and five-year higher normal education after junior high school must be junior high school graduates and meet the corresponding requirements in the junior high school level examination (senior high school entrance examination). Candidates who apply for secondary vocational education can be graduates with junior high school education or above, or social youth with the same education.
