Main responsibilities:

(a) to implement the laws and regulations of the state on education, formulate plans and measures for the reform and development of education in the city, and organize their implementation.

(two) responsible for the overall planning and coordinated management of all kinds of education at all levels in the city, the implementation of the setting standards of all kinds of schools, to guide the education and teaching reform of all kinds of schools at all levels in the city, and to be responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information.

(three) responsible for promoting the balanced development of compulsory education and promoting educational equity, and responsible for the guidance and coordination of compulsory education; Guide general high school education, preschool education and special education. Formulate or organize the implementation of the basic requirements and teaching documents of basic education, organize the compilation of local teaching materials, and fully implement quality education.
