The Ministry of Education, the Central Organization Department and the Ministry of Finance launched the "Experimental Plan for Training Top Students in Basic Subjects" (referred to as "Everest Plan") on 201. At present, 20 universities across the country are also jointly implementing the top-notch student training plan, first in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological science and computer science, with the aim of selecting a group of top-notch students in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science throughout the country. By the end of 20 14, nearly 100 colleges and universities in China had enrolled students independently, with each student scoring 20-40, with a maximum score of 60. Self-enrollment has become an important mode of college enrollment.

In order to promote the training and selection of top-notch students in middle schools and actively cooperate with the independent enrollment of colleges and universities, Beijing Shengtao Education Development and Innovation Research Institute, with the support of the Senior High School Education Committee of China Education Association, the Enrollment Examination Branch of China Higher Education Association, the Innovative Talents Education Research Association, and Beijing Youth Science and Technology Innovation College, and in conjunction with the College Admissions Magazine of the Ministry of Education, plans to hold a 20 15 national summer camp for independent enrollment of colleges and universities and top-notch basic subjects for middle school students in Beijing in August. Academicians, scientists and university professors from the two academies will be invited as teaching experts, and the heads of university admissions offices and relevant departments will be invited to talk with students, which will open up new channels and provide a broad stage for discovering and cultivating top-notch innovative talents among middle school students.

In the summer camp activities, we will select a group of winners from the outstanding students participating in the activities every year and directly recommend them to first-class universities at home and abroad, providing convenient access for students who are interested in studying in national and world-class universities.
