Pingchang County No.2 Middle School is a municipal key middle school for the whole county. The campus covers an area of 63 mu with a building area of 28,000 square meters. There are 330 teaching and administrative staff, including middle and senior teachers 147, 20 outstanding teachers and academic leaders commended by provincial and national labor, personnel and education departments, 95 with bachelor's degrees, and 8 graduate teachers 18. In June, 2002, Pingchang No.2 Middle School and Peking University High School jointly established the distance education demonstration school of Peking University High School. The excellent educational resources of the middle school attached to Peking University are transmitted synchronously and timely by means of satellite and Internet, which greatly promotes the education and teaching reform of the school. Upon the decision of the school, with the consent of the middle school affiliated to Peking University and the approval of the education authorities, our school and the middle school affiliated to Peking University jointly set up a distance education network teaching class.
