Background story:
Pachibel was born in Nuremberg, Germany. In his early years, he studied music with Schwemer, and 1669 entered a school in Altdorf for music education, but in the second year, he was transferred to a school in regensburg because he could not afford the tuition. From 1673 to Vienna, he became a student and assistant of the organist Kerr of St. Stephen's Cathedral.
