Jianshe Road Primary School was founded in 1938, formerly known as Taiyuan No.1 Demonstration Primary School. With the development of the times, the school has been renamed as the Fifth Xinmin Primary School in Taiyuan, the Fifth Provincial Primary School, the Seventh Complete Primary School in Taiyuan and Xincheng Street Primary School in Chengnan District.
