With our unremitting efforts, we have made some gains in this hot land of "big reading".

Under my guidance and suggestion, more than a dozen students in the class introduced how to choose excellent books and talked about their reading plans. Students' enthusiasm for reading is growing. Many students expressed their love for reading in their diaries, saying that this year's reading has brought fresh air to their lives and expressed satisfaction with the measures taken by the school. Some students in my class wrote in their reading notes: reading in the reading room every Monday is really a pleasure. Some students said: We read a book every month. As long as we insist on reading one book at a time, I believe my knowledge will accumulate more and more.

Reading makes children active learners. They will independently explore various problems in the learning process and solve them through various information channels. Today, more than 240 fifth-grade teachers and students in our school held a reading contest "Let books grow with me" on the playground. The story competition was first held in all classes, and then in grade groups. In the competition, 16 excellent players were well prepared, accurate in Mandarin, fluent in language and rich in feelings. When talking about the emotional part, they also use body language, props and songs to give full play to the essence of the story. The story with emotion and sound has caused bursts of laughter and applause from teachers and students present from time to time, showing strong language expression ability and comprehensive quality, which not only makes children enjoy happiness, but also learns profound truth from it.

In addition to telling stories, some students also vividly described their reading comprehension and experience in a cadence way. The children's speeches are wonderful, and most of them can express their feelings with their hearts. They also pay attention to the use of body language, which is infectious, but it also has shortcomings, mainly because the speeches written are not convincing and rarely have heartfelt feelings. Some players are not familiar with the manuscript and can't use speech skills.

Speech is aimed at propaganda and agitation, with audio language as the main form of expression and situational language as the auxiliary form, to systematically and clearly clarify one's own views and opinions, which is not only to educate others, but also to educate oneself.

Knowing and even reciting the speech is the premise of the speech. It is impossible to infect the audience by reading according to the book. Only when you are familiar with the speech and at the same time pour your feelings into it will you be dry and sincere. Of course, the feelings revealed in the speech should be consistent with the content.

Speaking on stage should be full of emotion, confidence and steady pace. A speech should have a clear point of view, and the content should be determined from a "small" point, starting from an angle, a side and a small matter, so as to describe things and express feelings. We should focus on small things and never be empty, which shows the speaker's affirmation of a rational understanding. It is also necessary to proceed from reality, consider the needs of the audience, give a speech that conforms to the students' reality and general concern, collect some issues of general concern, and be targeted.

You should speak loudly. Speaking is for everyone, and it should be colloquial so that people can hear it clearly; Attention should also be paid to priorities, rhythm changes and emotional pauses; The speech should be passionate, and the rhythm of the speech should be compact and not slow.

Storytelling is also an effective way to cultivate children's reading interest and habits. Children like listening to stories. It's best to speak slowly, be kind and natural, articulate and affectionate. Imitation dialogue should be realistic and reflect the personality characteristics of different roles.

This semester, our fifth-grade Chinese group actively responded to the call of the school to create a "scholarly campus" and strive for a "scholarly classroom", and carried out long-term and systematic reading activities, creating a strong reading atmosphere. With our efforts, we have made some gains in this hot land of "big reading".

First, ensure the source of reading books.

You can only study if you have a book, and reading without a book will become water without a source and a tree without a root. If you look for books through a single channel, the effect will definitely be unsatisfactory. In the second week of school, we called on the students to save their pocket money to buy books and borrow books from the school library. In addition, mobilize students to donate a few books each to enrich the class book corner. At the same time, responsible students in each class are selected as librarians to manage books. This ensures that students have enough books to read.

Second, create a strong reading atmosphere.

In order to create a good reading environment, we have carefully beautified the book corner at the door of the classroom, so that the books donated by the whole class have a "warm home" and it is more convenient for students to take books and read. We will always remember the reading slogan of our class: I read, I am happy! And supervise each other whether they have fulfilled the promise made at the beginning of the semester: to be inseparable friends of books. So students in our grade study whenever they have time! I have achieved the goal of holding a book in my hand, talking about it during recess and thinking about it all the time. Really let the books in the class grow up with the children.

1. During the semester, the teacher recommended three books that students must read: The Water Margin, Aesop's Fables and Insects. Usually in the form of homework, the teacher specifies the number of pages at a specified time for students to finish reading. 1. At the beginning of school, students should be guided to recite and accumulate in extracurricular reading.

Students' reading level will continue to improve with the passage of time, and gradually guide students to read designated books, stories, etc. And recommend classic books appropriately to guide students to read. The teacher will introduce our reading plan to parents at the parent-teacher meeting, so that this activity can get their attention and strong support, buy books suitable for children to read, create a good reading atmosphere at home, and urge children to read at home for at least half an hour every day.

Tell an idiom story every day and recite an ancient poem every week. Finish it with the children in the morning reading. Help children accumulate richer literary materials.

4, often show the reading report class at school, guide and help children read at home. Teachers insist on reading classics to students; Teachers use reading teaching time to read to students and encourage students to write their own reading feelings.

Although we have done some work, there are still many shortcomings:

2. There is no way to master reading, reading is slow, and reading is not silent, which leads to some students unable to complete reading tasks and poor reading effect.

3. The teacher's inspection and supervision is not strong enough, and he does not insist on daily inspection and communication. Finally, in the final review stage, they just arrange it every day, lacking communication with parents and effective supervision methods, which leads to students' laziness and poor completion effect.

There is hope in books and happiness in reading. In order to improve the knowledge of teachers and students, enrich ourselves in the process of reading and create new goals for life and study, we will continue to study and enrich ourselves.
