Introduction:

In March of 20001year, the new education college of Beijing Normal University was formally established. The new College of Education was reorganized from the former Ministry of Education, the College of International and Comparative Education and the College of Educational Sciences. The current president is Professor Zhang Binxian, and the party secretary is Associate Professor Gu. The College of Education currently has four departments, namely, the Department of Education, the Department of Educational Economics and Management, the Department of Preschool Education and the Department of Special Education. There are seven research institutes, including the Institute of International and Comparative Education, the Institute of Educational Science, the Institute of Educational History and Culture, the Institute of Educational Law and Policy, the Institute of Higher Education, the Institute of Teacher Education, and the Institute of School Consultation. There are 12 research centers such as the Special Education Research Center, and the earliest post-doctoral mobile station for education in China.
