What are the views on the origin of education?
There are three views on the origin of education.

1, biological origin theory: This view holds that the origin of education can be traced back to the survival instinct activities in the animal kingdom. It advocates that education is a universal biological phenomenon, not a special social phenomenon. The French philosopher and sociologist Little is the representative of this view. However, this view ignores the essential difference between humans and animals and the sociality of education, so it has been criticized.

2. Theory of psychological origin: The theory of psychological origin holds that education originates from children's unconscious imitation of adults. Lu Meng, an American educational historian, is the representative of this view. Although imitation does have a certain effect on children's growth, the origin of education is completely attributed to imitation, ignoring the complexity and diversity of education.

3. Theory of labor origin: The theory of labor origin holds that education originated from labor, which is the dialectical unity of social production needs and human development needs in the process of labor. According to this view, labor is the first basic condition of the whole human life, which creates people themselves and is also the foundation of education. Educators from the Soviet Union and educators from the former Soviet Union and China are the main representatives of this view. The theory of labor origin emphasizes the close relationship between education and social production and human development, which is scientific to some extent.
