Children are the flowers of the motherland and the hope of the nation. The balance and imbalance of psychological state in early childhood will directly affect his life.
As a teacher with many years of preschool education experience, I can better understand that a healthy psychology is not only the need of children's intellectual development and healthy growth, but also the necessary quality for children's future survival and development. The improvement of children's quality is first of all the improvement of psychological quality. Therefore, it is very important to cultivate and maintain children's mental health. At the same time, children's psychological education is not only the responsibility of kindergartens, but also the responsibility of families and society. Here I will talk about the importance of creating good mental health education for children in kindergartens, families and society and the importance of cultivating and maintaining children's mental health according to my experience:
(1) The environment of mental health education in kindergartens includes: kindergarten environment, language environment, psychological education environment and other multi-faceted and multi-level environments.
1. Kindergarten environment plays an important role in children's mental health education.
Children are lively and active by nature. Kindergartens provide children with broad space for activities, novel, inspiring and guiding toy facilities, and meet their psychological needs of operation, exploration, knowledge and curiosity. Thereby stimulating children's enthusiasm and creativity. One of the criteria of mental health is "love life and be willing to study and work". The garden environment also provides a platform for children to live, study and exercise. Children's activity space is an important physical environment factor that affects children's mental health. Children's activity room with high density of people may increase children's aggressive behavior, reduce social behavior and increase the rate of not actively participating in activities. If kindergartens blindly expand enrollment for economic benefits, so that a class of about 25 students is expanded to a class of 30-40 students, it will have a negative impact on children's mental health. Air quality is also an important factor affecting children's health. Noise will not only damage children's subjective hearing, but also make the adjustment function of the central nervous system disorder, leading to systemic dysfunction, such as gastrointestinal dysfunction, rapid heartbeat, blood pressure fluctuation, chronic fatigue, emotional irritability and so on. In addition, the daylighting in the kindergarten is too poor and the light is insufficient. Children live in a dark and humid environment all day, and their emotions will be depressed, which will also have a negative impact on their mental health.
2. The language environment in kindergarten has a profound influence on children's psychological development.
As the saying goes, "a good word is warm in three winters and a bad word is cold in half a year", so whether a teacher's words and deeds are correct has a far-reaching impact on children's psychological development. A caring word, an encouraging word and a praising word can affect a child's life. There are various differences among children, some are smart, some are ordinary, some have superior family environment, and some have physical defects or bad habits. As a kindergarten teacher, we should respect and understand children, be fair and impartial, and put an end to words and deeds harmful to children's mental health. Teachers should set a good example for children, lead by example everywhere, and speak gently and politely. Teachers and teachers, teachers and children, children and children should use the language of love to form a healthy language environment for children. There is a story: In Germany after World War II, there were two kindergartens with the same equipment and food quality. However, when the investigators investigated the children's health status in these two kindergartens, they found that the children in Garden A were healthy and happy, while the children in Garden B were in poor health. The different results puzzled the investigators. After careful investigation and analysis, they finally found the reason. It turns out that the nurses who manage children's meals in Garden A are affable and caring, and always treat and help children with smiles and encouragement when eating, while the nurses in Garden B lack patience and love, and reprimand children every time they eat, which leads to children's fear, tears and even incontinence when eating, which seriously affects their appetite, digestion and absorption, and ultimately has a negative impact on their physical and mental health. Another example is a child in my class. When I was a child, I often licked it with my tongue because of a cold and runny nose. Over time, he will form a bad habit. If we say "you are so dirty and disgusting", it will hurt his psychology, and it will also make other children form prejudice against people with defects from an early age and form the habit of disrespecting and belittling others.
3. Children's psychological education environment
People's psychology is produced and developed in activities, and children's activities are mainly role games, sports games, language games, music games and so on. In addition to the educational function of the game itself, the integration of mental health education into the game can also play a very good role. Games are an excellent means to cultivate social skills and independence. Role games and sports games solve the contradiction between children's desire to participate in various social life like adults and their physical and mental development level. Through games, children can experience the joy of being gregarious, enhance their gregarious consciousness and improve their cooperative ability. In role games, children learn how to get along well with their peers through activities such as establishing the theme of the game, choosing the role and developing the plot. The good development of self-awareness, the development of gregarious feelings and the coordinated development of socialization and personality are undoubtedly extremely important to children's psychological education.
(B), family mental health education environment
Do a good job in parent school, publicize mental health knowledge to parents, and let parents pay attention to their children's mental health problems. School, society and family are the three main environments in which children live. The school environment is healthy, but the family environment is not good. It cannot be said that children's psychological development has a healthy environment. Therefore, to improve children's mental health, in addition to the efforts of teachers, parents are also needed. At present, many parents are not familiar with the concepts of "mental health" and "mental health" for various reasons, and the work of children's mental health needs parents' long-term cooperation and support in many aspects. So it is necessary to publicize psychological knowledge to parents. Moreover, children spend a lot of time with their parents. Only when parents know the knowledge of mental health can they pay attention to their words and deeds, which will have a healthy impact on their children's psychology.
(3) The importance of social environment to children's psychological education.
From the social point of view, some indecent things and bad social atmosphere have a negative impact on children's mental health. The so-called "those who are close to the ink are black" children are young and psychologically susceptible to external environment. Kindergartens should also actively communicate with the community, optimize the educational environment in the community, and let children develop healthily from a natural, social and standardized environment.
(4) The importance of cultivating and maintaining children's mental health:
At present, children have different degrees of mental health problems. Mainly in two aspects:
First, the tolerance for setbacks is low and can't stand bumps. Cry and lose your temper when you are slightly unhappy.
Second, it lacks the ability to communicate with others and deal with interpersonal events.
Love is an important condition and necessary environmental factor for children's mental health development. Practice has proved that a child who is fully loved by adults correctly and rationally will always be confident, energetic and positive; On the contrary, children who are rejected by adults often give up on themselves, forming inferiority and antisocial psychology. Some children are in high spirits when they are praised, and show great grievances when they are criticized for doing something wrong, and even don't talk for a few days. This situation shows that children's tolerance is poor and should be paid attention to by our teachers. Therefore, after children enter kindergarten, they should be guided to actively participate in various collective activities. In group activities, we should learn to care for others, respect others, unite and help each other, learn to get along with others on an equal footing, and gradually cultivate children's good psychological quality through group activities. It can also correct some bad behavior habits and wrong psychological concepts of children, thus forming a positive and normal mentality.
Children's mental health education is related to the growth of a generation. I hope that every kindergarten teacher, including parents and the whole society, will care about the mental health of children! May every child's psychology grow healthily.
