Higher vocational education in China is developing vigorously. Therefore, it is imperative to do a good job in teaching, otherwise it will not reflect the educational function and correct connotation of higher vocational education. Teaching reform is the key to do well in teaching; It is the key to carry out educational reform effectively, change old teaching concepts and establish correct teaching concepts. As an external teacher, I also have the responsibility and obligation to seriously study the teaching concepts and methods of higher vocational education and improve my education level. Now I will make a summary as follows.

First, the concept of higher vocational education

Higher vocational education and general higher education are two types of higher education. General higher education pursues the cultivation of academic talents; Higher vocational education aims at cultivating high-skilled talents. Higher vocational education and general higher education are two types of higher education. Higher vocational education is an education to cultivate high-skilled talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics to meet the needs of production, construction, management and service. Higher vocational education belongs to the category of vocational education, facing specific occupations and serving students' careers. Ordinary higher education is also career-oriented, but it is largely theoretical, with the purpose of preparing for research or engaging in high-tech occupations. Therefore, professionalization should be the connotation of the training goal orientation of higher vocational education, that is, cultivating talents has strong professional ability characteristics and advantages.

Second, the action-oriented teaching method

Through in-depth study, I have a further understanding of the action-oriented teaching method.

Action-oriented refers to the action plan jointly determined by teachers and students to guide the process of teaching organization. Students can achieve the unity of mental work and physical work through active and comprehensive study. Action-oriented teaching generally adopts cross-teaching

The model of subject comprehensive curriculum does not emphasize the systematization of knowledge, but attaches importance to case and problem solving and students' autonomous management learning. The teacher's task is to provide advice and help to learners and evaluate the learning process and results with them.

The core of action-oriented learning is to expand and improve the individual activity mode purposefully, and the key is learners' initiative and self-responsibility, that is, learners manage the learning process to a great extent. Action-oriented learning emphasizes learners' evaluation of the learning process, which focuses on obtaining processing information and solving problems, including self-evaluation and external evaluation.

The main characteristics of action orientation are:

Third, the application of higher vocational education concepts and methods in curriculum teaching

Combined with the graphic design course I taught, I have the following experiences. In the teaching process of graphic design, teaching from the perspective of software use is only the most basic teaching method, which can only teach students the simplest software itself. From the point of view that students can master it quickly and skillfully, targeted teaching will play a better role. To let students learn this course well, the key lies in how to gradually cultivate students' strong interest in learning in the learning process; How to stimulate students' creativity and imagination and cultivate students' aesthetic feeling; How to guide students to realize the importance of this course for future study; How to use rich resources to broaden students' horizons and constantly enrich and enhance their artistic creation ability.

1. Stimulate students' interest in learning. I think the first class of this course will start from the appreciation class, which will bring better results than the conventional way. It is very important for teachers to cultivate students' interest in courses and their subjective initiative in learning. Once there is a strong desire to learn, students will subjectively want to learn the course well. In order to achieve this goal, students will actively search for information, constantly expand their knowledge and fulfill their requirements. Therefore, we should abandon the traditional teaching interface and introduce the teaching method of knowledge points to appreciate the class. For example, when explaining the development of Photoshop, we can appreciate some excellent works of Photoshop in various industries, so that students can have a perceptual understanding of Photoshop first, and change their thinking from passive acceptance to active cognition.

The effect is very good in learning. In order to cooperate with the effect of appreciation class, it is necessary to carefully collect some typical example renderings of various aspects of Photoshop application before class. Through the explanation of the appreciation class, the students' learning desire and interest are mobilized, so the next lecture will be more effective.

2. Change the traditional example teaching method. When teaching graphic design, teachers are bound to explain specific functions through a large number of examples, but the rigid use of examples is often ineffective. Many students will only do a few examples in class after class, and will not think about how to innovate at all. Therefore, how to carry out innovative example teaching is a problem worthy of discussion. According to different links, we can give examples in different ways. In the process of systematic teaching, teachers should guide students to understand that only skills and ideas are what we should focus on learning and mastering. Teachers should extract knowledge points from legends, strengthen explanations in class, and provide students with a large number of galleries at the same time, so that students can give full play to their imagination according to their own mastery and understanding of legends, and integrate their own creations into operations to form a brand-new work, which is often the cornerstone of success.

3. Change the roles of teachers and students and cooperate with students. Let the students explain their own works and be a teacher once. Here, the role of teachers has undergone major changes. Teaching and learning are mutual. In the conventional graphic design teaching, teachers will inevitably occupy a dominant position and guide students to accept knowledge through excellent examples and their own experience. However, in all teaching links, the single teaching mode of "teacher telling students" can't achieve the ideal effect, and students can't know whether their current learning methods are appropriate or not, and there is no necessary communication between teachers and students. Psychological research shows that students want to be affirmed and praised by teachers and classmates, and necessary competition can also promote mutual progress, so they will cherish this opportunity and will definitely prepare actively. This method can not only deepen students' understanding of graphic design, but also help them develop the good habit of consulting a lot of materials and doing a lot of exercises to assist design. It can also improve the atmosphere of teamwork, mutual trust and mutual assistance among students, and also exercise the language expression ability.

4. Cultivate students' self-study ability. Students are required to have the ability to learn new knowledge by themselves and master the use of upgrade software. Therefore, in the teaching process, we should pay attention to cultivating students' self-study ability, and teachers and students should jointly solve new problems in design and teach them a learning method.

The research and application of teaching ideas and methods in higher vocational education is a long-term process. As an external teacher, I will apply the knowledge and theory learned in this pre-job training to daily teaching in my future work and make my own contribution to the construction and development of the college.

The professional training goal provides the direction and standard of training specialized talents, which is the premise of making teaching plan and the important content of talent training mode. It is one of the prerequisites for developing higher vocational education and formulating reform measures in higher vocational colleges to clarify the training objectives of higher vocational and technical education and the specifications of talents needed for training.

An important factor affecting the training goal is whether the specialty division is appropriate, which depends on the requirements of national construction for specialized talents and the actual needs of social development, economic development and talent market. Higher vocational and technical colleges should set up majors for social professional posts or post groups to reflect professionalism. The width of major division is related to the curriculum. The division of majors should be discussed by relevant government departments, enterprises and schools.
