1, Southwest University: East Sichuan Teachers College, which originated from 1906, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Chongqing Municipality;

2. Chongqing Normal University: founded in 1954, it is a comprehensive normal university characterized by teacher education and coordinated development of multiple disciplines;

3. Sichuan Normal University: founded in 1946, it is the earliest and oldest institution in Sichuan Province to establish undergraduate normal education;

4. Sichuan University of Arts and Sciences: Higher education started at 1976, which is called Daxian Teachers College. 1978 was approved by the State Council as a full-time college;

5. Chengdu University: Founded in 1978, it was originally an undergraduate college. 1983 received a loan from the world bank, suspended the undergraduate course and changed to a junior college. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2003, it was restored as an ordinary undergraduate college.
