What is the college entrance examination?
College entrance examination refers to the entrance examination for higher education in China.

College entrance examination is a qualification examination for candidates to enter and choose universities, and it is also one of the most important national examinations in China. It is organized by the state, proposed by specialized agencies, and carried out simultaneously.

There are three forms: college entrance examination, self-taught examination and adult college entrance examination. The most important exam in People's Republic of China (PRC) (except Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). College entrance examination is the qualification standard for candidates to choose and enter universities, and it is also one of the national education examinations. The examination form is a closed book.

The Ministry of Education stipulates that the following four categories of personnel are not allowed to register for the general college entrance examination:

1, students with higher education in institutions of higher learning.

2. Non-fresh graduates of high schools forge fresh graduates.

3. Being taken compulsory measures by the relevant departments or serving a sentence for violating the criminal law.

4. Students with no student status and incomplete files.
