Hunan University, referred to as "Huda", is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the national "double first-class", "985 Project" and "2 1 1 project". It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and was selected for the "Strong Foundation Plan" and "Everest Plan".
