Kaifeng Xiangfu Experimental Middle School was founded in 1978. It is the only public junior high school affiliated to Xiangfu Education and Sports Bureau and a key junior high school in Xiangfu District of Kaifeng City. The experimental middle school relies on advanced ideas, scientific management, hard work of teachers and advanced teaching methods, which greatly improves the teaching quality of the school.

Xiangfu District is a municipal district in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, bordering lankao county and Qixian in the east, Yuwangtai District in Kaifeng City in the west, Weishi County and Tongxu County in the south and the Yellow River in the north. Chengguan Town is the center of Xiangfu District, a newly-built county town in 1980s, adjacent to Yuwangtai District of Kaifeng City, and the political, economic and cultural center of Xiangfu District.
