Xinjiang Uygur Medical College, located in Hotan City, Xinjiang, is a full-time general college with the aim of inheriting, excavating, improving and promoting medicine in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the goal of cultivating high-quality professional and technical personnel in Uygur medicine. 1984 started construction, and 1989 was officially put on record by the Ministry of Education (formerly the State Education Commission).
The old campus of the school covers a total area of 66,667 square meters (about 100 mu), with a building area of19,000 square meters. The school is preparing for the promotion and construction of the new campus. In 20 18, nursing, medical laboratory technology, rehabilitation technology and midwifery (according to the enrollment of China province) were enrolled in six provinces and cities of Xinjiang, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, Gansu and Ningxia.
