Learning dance is beneficial to the development of children's intelligence. Grasping the characteristics of children's natural love of moving and jumping, we should also choose dance according to the psychological characteristics of children knowing things through perception and relying on appearances. Another example: I once used a piece of music with edelweiss to make children imagine the snow scene in winter. This creative artistic activity helped the children complete the sublimation and transformation from plane image to three-dimensional image. It can cultivate children's thinking in images, train children's keen observation ability, and give full play to students' perception, association, imagination and fantasy, thus promoting students' intellectual development.

Dance is a whole art, and children dance often rehearses or performs in the form of group dance. Uniform formation and movements are often one of the criteria to measure the overall aesthetic feeling. If children are not serious and uncoordinated, it will affect or even destroy the beauty of the picture. Through this synchronous training, children will develop conscious, disciplined and cooperative behavior habits over time.

Children dance can also cultivate children's lively personality and strong perseverance. Especially the contemporary only child, loved by relatives at home, may be shy and coquettish in public, and perform dance in public. This kind of artistic activity has the characteristics of instant interpersonal communication on the spot. In the teaching process, teachers can use the extroverted characteristics of dance to stimulate students to perform expressive performances. By participating in rehearsals, going out to perform and group activities, many children have overcome the shortcomings of introversion, timidity and shyness.
