He used to be a member of Shaanxi Branch of China Artists Association, vice president of China Institute of Traditional Culture, vice president of Shaanxi Institute of Culture and Art, director of China National Painters Association and vice president of Beijing People's Painting Academy.

But it seems that even if these two "Arks" have anything to do with Buddhism, neither of them has ever held a post.
