The "Regulations" stipulate that if parents or guardians use violence or insults to carry out family education, minors can complain to the school, the unit where their parents or guardians work, the community and other departments for help, or report to the public security organs. The public security organ will issue a warning including the identity information of the perpetrator, the factual statement of domestic violence and the prohibition of domestic violence. In view of the outstanding problems in study, life and health of children in distress caused by the lack of family education, the regulations stipulate that the government should give priority to providing family education aid and guidance services to orphans, disabled, left-behind, mobile, abandoned and homeless minors, single-parent families and minors whose parents are serving sentences and compulsory detoxification, and families in poverty-stricken areas and ethnic minority areas. The "Regulations" designate the week of the third week of May every year as Chongqing Family Education Day, stipulating that parents' schools of primary and secondary school students should carry out family education activities more than twice per semester, and parents' schools of kindergartens should carry out family education activities more than three times per semester.
