Established in 1995, Dongguan Qizhi School is a public 12-year full-time special education school directly managed by Dongguan Education Bureau. Mainly recruit school-age children with mental retardation and hearing impairment, and implement nine-year compulsory education and vocational high school education.

Qi Hang Branch of Dongguan Qizhi School officially opened on July 15, 2020. It is a municipal public school jointly managed by Dongguan Education Bureau and Municipal Public Security Bureau.
