Too strict educational methods: negative effects on children
Too strict education may bring many negative effects to children. This paper will discuss the negative effects of strict education and the importance of moderate and balanced education from the aspects of mental health, sense of self-worth, family relationship and academic performance.

Impaired mental health

Excessive and strict education may bring great pressure to children, leading to anxiety and depression, and then affect their mental health.

Tension in family relations

Excessive education may cause tension between children and parents. Children may feel restricted and not understood, and it is difficult to establish good communication and close contact with their parents.

Decline in self-worth

Being too strict may hurt children's self-esteem and self-confidence, make them feel inferior and lack self-worth.

Decline in academic performance

Strict education methods may bring too much pressure to children, which may lead them to lose interest in learning or have rebellious psychology, and may eventually lead to a decline in academic performance rather than an improvement.

Moderate and balanced parenting is better.

In order to cultivate children's self-confidence, positive attitude and independent thinking ability, a moderate and balanced parenting style may be a better choice.
