The only public high school in Saipan is ArchbishopMakariosIIILyceum School: the school is located in Nicosia and is a public school, which was established in 1974. At present, the school has about 80 teachers, staff and 700 students, mainly teaching Greek. Saipan's education is an American system, and public high schools do not admit international students. There are only private schools, but they are expensive.
