Huang Shuhua (1968 ~ 198 1 year old), female, from Long Mei village, Liu Ao, Zhangpu. 1968 1 1 month, was born in an ordinary worker's family and received a good education from his family.

1September, 978, Huang Shuhua entered Long Mei Primary School. At school, the teacher taught her to learn from Lei Feng and be a good student. Huang Shuhua remembers the teacher's teaching. She usually does good deeds silently and often cleans the classroom and office. If the neighbors in the village have any difficulties, she often tries her best to help. There is a first-year student who has to cross the street to go to school, which is very unsafe. Huang Shuhua leads this little classmate to school every day and often helps him review his lessons at night. On Sunday or after school, Huang Shuhua and her neighbors go to the Woods to pick branches and leaves. Seeing that her little companions picked less, she took the initiative to give them what she picked. Or help others choose a basket first, and then choose your own. Chen Xiangpo, an 82-year-old soldier's family member in Longmei Village, has difficulty in using water. Shuhua helped the family member carry water after school. She also helped nearly 10 families to carry water. Everyone praised her as a good child and a good student.

Huang Shuhua studied hard and her math scores were not satisfactory. She even redoubled her efforts, listened attentively in class and finished her homework carefully, and her academic performance soon caught up with everyone. Huang Shuhua is also very concerned about children outside school. 198 1 At the beginning of the year, the school held a literacy class for children. She traveled all over the members' homes of five production teams in Nanban Village and mobilized nearly 20 girls to sign up for school. Usually girls ask what she doesn't understand. She taught them to write by hand as she spoke. Asked why she did this, she said, "Only when she grows up can she do more for the people."

Huang Shuhua respects her parents and elders, and is very polite. She often helps with housework and also helps villagers with housework. She is usually frugal, saving small change to buy school supplies and clothes. So both inside and outside the school, people in the village praised her as a sensible and polite boy.

On Sunday, March 29th, 198 1, a third-grade student and a young pioneer, Huang Shuhua, and friends Lin Chafeng and Lin Sanlan walked to the Qianjiang Beach in the old town harbor, ready to pick up some wheat snails, and accidentally slipped into the place where 1 was 7-8 meters wide and more than 2 meters deep. Huang Shuhua has rescued two friends, but she is exhausted and swallowed up by the ruthless waves. The villagers arrived at the news and salvaged her ashore. Because she drowned for too long, the rescue was ineffective and she died gloriously. At this time she was only 13 years old.

In recognition of Huang Shuhua's heroic deeds, the Fujian Provincial People's Government posthumously recognized Huang Shuhua as a revolutionary martyr, and the Communist Youth League Committee awarded Huang Shuhua the honorary title of "Excellent Young Pioneers", and erected the "Huang Shuhua Martyrs Monument" in the hometown of martyrs.
