On how to do well the ideological work of soldiers in the new period
Recruit management education is a basic work in the overall construction of the army, which is directly related to the generation, consolidation and improvement of the combat effectiveness of the army. The number of only children has increased, and most recruits have had different social experiences before joining the army. Some have been self-employed at home, some have worked outside, and so on. On the whole, the new soldiers seem to have broadened their horizons, their thoughts are active and simple, and their sense of advance and innovation is strong, which brings certain difficulties to the management and education of the troops and puts forward newer and higher requirements for the soldiers. This has brought new challenges to military management education. This puts forward newer and higher requirements for the ideological and political work of the army in the new period. In recent years, there have been some desertions, desertions and withdrawals in the fire forces. These problems have management reasons, which also shows that ideological work is not in place and is a mere formality. For the army, it is particularly important to do a good job in the ideological and political work of new soldiers. Here, combined with my internship experience and previous experience as a soldier, I would like to talk about my own ideas:

First, we should be good at finding problems in ideological and political work and finding out the root causes.

After joining the army, new soldiers are prone to psychological discomfort, such as depression, loneliness and homesickness. Due to the changes in their environment, status, responsibilities and interpersonal relationships, as well as the constraints of military regulations and hard training. When these psychological discomforts develop to a certain extent, they will take excessive actions, such as temporarily taking things too hard and leaving the army without authorization. These problems have both subjective and objective factors, as well as social and family reasons, which can be summarized as follows:

(A) from the perspective of the new soldiers themselves

1, forced to join the army, ideologically against the troops. Some young people themselves are not very willing to join the army because of the pressure from their parents and society. 2. Lack of hard-working spirit. Because of their living habits, social experience and family conditions before enlisting, most new soldiers are seriously afraid of hardship and fatigue. Because I lived a free, comfortable and happy life in the local area before joining the army, I couldn't adapt to the discipline, high-intensity training and stressful life of the army after joining the army, plus some external factors. After a period of military life, I began to "slide" ideologically, began to be afraid of training, hated training, and appeared "foot pain" and "headache", and evaded training one after another.

3. The motivation for joining the army is impure, personal wishes are not realized and confidence is lost. Everyone has their own good wishes to join the army. Most rural soldiers want to learn some skills when they join the army and want to get rich after they leave the army. Non-agricultural registered soldiers want to go back to find a better job by being soldiers. Once these personal wishes are not realized, some soldiers will be disheartened, rigid-minded, and narrow-minded, resulting in the thoughts and behaviors of leaving the army without authorization.

I miss my family. Before joining the army, the new soldiers were deeply loved by their parents and lived a life of "mouth to mouth, clothes to reach out" all day. Before joining the army, they talked about each other at home. When they arrive in the army, they lose their parents' love and communication with their objects, and they will feel homesick. Over time, they have no intention to study and train, and they begin to "collapse" ideologically.

(2) From the perspective of troops.

1. Ideological education is not thorough enough. Although the education of dedication to police camp, motivation to join the army and excellent traditional education of fire brigade are generally arranged during the new training, the form of education is often to read a paragraph and take an examination according to the script, which is boring in form and difficult to achieve practical results. In addition, the heart-to-heart talk activities are not widely carried out, and the real thoughts of the new soldiers are not well understood, so it is difficult to correctly grasp the ideological status of the soldiers. Therefore, effective and targeted measures cannot be taken in time to solve these problems.

2. Routine management is not implemented and not in place. The daily management system of a few units is not in place, the order is not standardized, the control is not strict, the responsibility is not clear, and the follow-up is not in place. It is impossible to clearly know what soldiers are doing, what they want to do, and what problems they have in their minds. It is difficult to effectively prevent the occurrence of undesirable phenomena such as leaving the team without authorization.

3. Some trainers have improper working methods. Some leading cadres have an incorrect attitude towards the new soldiers, their working methods are simple, blunt and rude, their troops are uncivilized, and they even beat, scold and corporal punishment, which hurts the self-esteem of the new soldiers and makes them feel the warmth of the army and the collective. Some leading trainers are eager for success, and blindly increase the training amount in violation of the new training law, which makes a few new soldiers unbearable, fearful and unbearable.

4. Individual instructors encroach on the interests of new recruits. 5. Ignore the cultural life after school. Some units blindly pursue the training effect, put their usual energy on training and pay insufficient attention to after-school cultural life. They arrange free activities on weekends, holidays and after school hours, and do not organize meaningful activities. They don't adjust the amateur life of the new soldiers, making them feel that the life in the police camp is monotonous. Over time, they began to get tired of this army life and began to shake their minds.

Second, apply scientific and reasonable ideological and political work methods to suit the remedy to the case.

The above analysis of the causes and ideological characteristics of the new soldiers' ideological problems can only be targeted if the causes of the problems are mastered and the "roots" connected with the problems are excavated. Let's talk about our own measures:

(1) Do a solid job in ideological and political education and lay a solid ideological foundation.

3. Do a good job in law and discipline education. By studying and understanding the basic knowledge of law, it is clear that rules and regulations are the basic criteria for regulating the words and deeds of military personnel, enhancing the concept of obeying the law, standardizing words and deeds, and making it clear that it is the obligation of every citizen to perform military service according to law. Leaving the army without authorization is a violation of law and military discipline, and will be severely punished by military law, which will make them afraid to leave the army without authorization.

(2) Do a good job in the management of trainers.

1, the training personnel should be detailed. For cadres, we should choose those with strong management ability and good ideological and political work; For the monitor, a person who is self-motivated, has a strong sense of responsibility, is proficient in business and has strong organizational skills.

5. Put an end to beating, cursing and corporal punishment of recruits. When dealing with recruits, we should lead troops scientifically, emotionally, and draw a clear line between strict management and simple and rude, daring to grasp and control and corporal punishment, being good at management and corporal punishment in disguise. We must persist in leading troops with affection, earnestly correct the fundamental attitude towards recruits, and avoid corporal punishment by beating, scolding and cursing; We should adhere to the principle of leading troops, pay attention to education and guidance, stimulate consciousness, and not be simple and rude; We must adhere to the principle of just leading troops, correctly handle various problems with facts and rules and regulations as the criterion, and do not favor one over the other; We must adhere to strict leadership, achieve the organic unity of strictness and love, and strive to create a good atmosphere conducive to the healthy growth of new soldiers.

(C) do a good job in cultural and sports activities

It is an important means to organize colorful amateur cultural activities, enrich the living space of new soldiers, create an environment for people to stay, and make new soldiers love the army. To carry out amateur cultural activities, we should work hard on the "three combinations". Colorful recreational activities play a subtle role in enriching the new soldiers' thoughts and standardizing their words and deeds. Take entertainment activities as the carrier, entertain and educate, and carefully implement moral education projects. First, carry out reading activities to improve their ideological and moral, scientific and cultural level; The second is to carry out the activity of "writing and performing soldiers", give play to the role of "small capable people" among new soldiers, create some folk art programs that reflect people and things around them, and cultivate their national defense dedication and sense of mission; The third is to carry out film and television viewing activities. Ensure that new soldiers can watch 1-2 movies and 1-2 videos every week, and constantly cultivate moral sentiments.

2. Combination of entertainment and training. We should adhere to the combination of training and entertainment and integrate entertainment into training. After class and training, the new soldiers performing arts and crafts are often asked to sing, tell stories and perform small specialties. Organize games between classes, actively carry out long and short competitions, basketball, tug-of-war competitions and other cultural and sports activities, and strive to create a good atmosphere of "unity, liveliness, positivity and progress". Through healthy and colorful entertainment activities, new soldiers can fully relax after intense training and stimulate their interest in training. Thereby greatly improving the training quality.

3. entertaining and entertaining. According to the characteristics of higher education level and strong thirst for knowledge of new soldiers, combined with the actual situation of our unit, we should help them make a study plan in time, so that new soldiers can develop good study habits as soon as they join the army, thus establishing confidence in the growth and progress of the army.

Third, scientific management and comprehensive and in-depth ideological and political work.

To do well the ideological and political work of new soldiers, we should start with guiding them to learn and improve. On the basis of helping new soldiers to establish a correct outlook on life and values, we should also carry out educational activities in four aspects in a down-to-earth manner: First, speak the truth confidently. Instill an ideology of "obeying orders and commanding" and "serving the people", guide soldiers to correctly understand the great significance of establishing a revolutionary outlook on life, enhance their awareness of hard work and selfless dedication, and know the profound truth of how to be a qualified soldier and how to be a man. Please tell the story of the backbone squad leaders who joined the army from the countryside and had the experience of raising pigs, growing vegetables, cooking and standing guard, and how they grew and progressed under the education of the party organization and the constant encouragement of new soldiers. The third is to find the gap in comparison with the British model. Organize new soldiers to seriously study heroic deeds and enhance their sense of honor and responsibility as soldiers. The fourth is to establish a "trinity" education mechanism of the army, society and family to enhance the overall effect of education. Through education, we will promote the continuous growth and progress of new soldiers, so that every new soldier can improve his own quality and become a useful talent for the army and society. At the same time, the exemplary role of the cadre monitor is the key in daily management. First of all, we must set an example. The ancients said: "Its body is right, it doesn't make it; His body is not right, although he is not obedient. " As soldiers, we should set an example, be strict with ourselves everywhere, and appear in front of soldiers with a good image; Second, we must adhere to principles and handle affairs impartially. All matters involving the vital interests of soldiers should fully carry forward democracy, treat soldiers equally, listen to their opinions carefully, do not engage in personal relations, favor one over the other, and handle things fairly and reasonably; 3. Do not seek personal gain, do not seek personal gain. Do not encroach on the interests of soldiers, do not accept gifts from soldiers, do not harm public interests and personal interests, regard the army as their "home", adhere to the principle of putting soldiers first, putting people first, thinking of soldiers everywhere and serving them. Only in this way can new soldiers truly feel that cadres can be trusted and take the army as their home, thus consciously obeying management and command. Actively contribute to the army.

In a word, it is related to the development and stability of the army to do a good job in the ideological and political work of new soldiers and prevent the occurrence of undesirable phenomena such as desertion. There are various methods, but the most important thing is to work hard on the word "strict management and love", insist on leading troops with affection, and not relax the education of discipline and rules while caring for recruits.
