Xingyi Sunshine Academy Project Base is located in Sajin Village, Pingtung, west of Xifeng Forest Scenic Area, east of Ring Expressway and City Park, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation.

The building of this project is divided into 9 sub-projects: teachers' apartment, administrative teaching building, science and technology building, library, canteen, student dormitory, art museum and supporting facilities.

On the basis of fully investigating the historical development origin of Xingyi City, this paper reinterprets the architectural design concept with modern methods. The general plan adopts courtyard organization, the design of facade, the use of elements such as sloping roof, coupon gallery, khaki and white wall tiles, blue glazed tiles, and modern materials such as glass and steel to create a stable and friendly campus atmosphere, which makes the whole school not only elegant and generous, but also full of the atmosphere of young students.

1. Functional Zoning —— Traditional Academy Layout and Open Education Concept

Functional layout design concept: around "one ring, one axis and one core", it is divided into six functional groups, and each functional area is organized by district:

2. Streamline of traffic-separation of people and vehicles and connection of loops.

3. Environmental landscape design-the combination of central landscape and courtyard landscape, the combination of Chinese and western.

The entrance square, Qixian Square and teaching building are the main landscapes, and campus cultural attractions such as erudite gallery, Xuesi Garden, Juxian Square and Surabaya Garden are the secondary landscape nodes, which combine with each other to form the school cultural landscape.

On the axis of the north and south main teaching areas, a shared space closely related to teaching life is organized. Let these cultural symbols representing the history of Xingyi form a unique humanistic atmosphere in Sunshine Middle School, so that students can be edified and sublimated in their study and life.

4. Space organization

Follow the overall layout planning of the school and combine with the landscape layout to form a park-style teaching environment with a combination of one axis and one ring and point distribution.

In planning, the main landscape axis runs through the campus, conforms to the terrain trend of the site, and combines the secondary landscape nodes to organize a main loop around the teaching area and the square in front of the school, so that the functional areas are closely connected through the loop, and a secondary loop shared by people and vehicles is organized in the middle of the land to reduce the traffic pressure of the main loop. Solve the complex traffic streamline problem on campus, organize daily use entrances and exits on the north side of the land, namely the campus gate, and organize logistics entrances and exits on the south side of the land. The diversion of three entrances and exits evacuated the streamline of different people in each area.

5. Single building design

The architectural design concept is reinterpreted by modern methods after fully investigating the historical development origin of Xingyi City. The elements such as sloping hilltops, coupon galleries, khaki and white wall tiles, blue glazed tiles and modern materials such as glass and section steel are used to create a stable and friendly campus atmosphere, which makes the whole school not only elegant, but also full of youthful vitality.

The building adopts semi-closed layout and simple and heavy architectural style. White and khaki classical buildings and cyan sloping roofs add architectural culture. The use of stones and glazed tiles reflects the image of the academy itself.

In the functional design, a variety of functional spaces, such as quality education classrooms and administrative offices, are set up, which are reasonably distributed and closely related.

On the north side of the administration building is the library and science and technology building, which integrates many artistic and cultural functions such as music, dance, library and lecture hall. In addition to meeting the requirement of being more than 25 meters away from the sports field, it also avoids the interference to other rooms to the greatest extent and shields the noise in the sports area.
