The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) is the only normal college among the eight existing universities in Hong Kong.

In the ranking of QS prestigious schools, the pedagogy of Hong Kong Institute of Education ranks 15 in the world and third in Asia. It is a regular undergraduate graduate school and recognized by the Ministry of Education. Not a college or college in the domestic sense.
