Re-evaluation of the 13th "Peach and Plum Cup" National Youth Dance Education and Teaching Achievements Exhibition was successfully concluded. A few days ago, the review meeting was successfully held.
Tao Cheng, Director of Science and Technology Education Department of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Batu, Secretary of Party Committee of Beijing Dance Academy, Feng Shuangbai, Chairman of Chinese Dancers Association, Xu Rui, Deputy Secretary and Dean of Party Committee of Beijing Dance Academy, Hui Tong, Standing Committee Member and Vice President of Party Committee of Beijing Dance Academy, and other leaders attended the judging meeting and delivered speeches. More than 40 re-evaluation experts from dance circles, art colleges and art troupes all over the country attended the meeting.
At the launching ceremony, Tao Cheng, director of the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, said that in recent years, the country has launched a series of measures to promote the prosperity and development of dance art. As a national professional activity sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the "Peach and Plum Cup" is an important starting point for continuously guiding and promoting the innovation and development of national dance education and the training of dance professionals, which has had an important influence and broad appeal in the professional field and society.
This activity has made the following adjustments in terms of mechanism innovation:
First, highlight the role of strengthening incentives and guidance, and select excellent levels from the selected exhibits;
The second is to enrich the content of exhibition activities and pay attention to the new development and trend of dance education;

Batu, secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Dance Academy, shared some experiences with the judging experts on the re-evaluation of the "Peach and Plum Cup".
The first thing is to be honest and innovative. Thirty-eight years have passed since the first "Peach and Plum Cup" was successfully held in 1985. Experts should make panoramic observation and professional judgment on the training specifications of top dance talents, maintain integrity and innovation on the basis of adhering to tradition, and lead and promote the development of dance industry to keep pace with the times and bring forth new ideas.
The second is to look at micro knowledge. Through the selection of works in the re-evaluation stage, this paper observes the changes of the aesthetic concept of the public in today's society and the relationship between theater viewing and performance, summarizes and combs the cultural phenomenon of "Peach and Plum Cup", and clears up the train of thought for the future development of dance.
The third is a unique vision. Behind each work is the embodiment of the creator's original spirit and aesthetic concept, which is the entry point for us to contact the frontier dynamics of the dance industry. It is hoped that experts can understand the future development trend of dance art from a keen perspective and provide strategic guidance for the long-term development of dance industry.
