The benefits of studying at home
Save time on the way to school. After all, studying at home means that your activity space is basically a small space at home. It doesn't take long to go anywhere, and things like going to the bathroom for more than five minutes won't happen. Study time is relatively free. Theoretically, you spend more time studying at home than at school.

Disadvantages of studying at home

(1) No social interaction. Homeschooling often has only one or two children, so there is no chance to socialize. In public schools, because there are many children from different cultures and family backgrounds, students have ample opportunities to communicate with each other and establish appropriate social and communication skills. Loneliness is one of the negative effects of homeschooling.

(2) Lack of self-confidence. Because homeschooling does not require students to face more homework and challenges like public schools, it is difficult for them to develop a kind of self-confidence needed to complete various tasks. Without self-confidence, it is difficult to communicate with students outside family education.

Second, efficient learning methods

(1) It is more effective to recall information than to read it alone. However, when people watch videos or read books online, they rarely repeat them in their own language, which is very common. We do this because our brains think it's easier, but it's superficial because reading itself can't help create new neural pathways.

(2) Self-study is very helpful to improve reading speed, reading comprehension, induction, analysis and summary. The higher the learning level, the more important the significance of self-study. At present, in order to select students with learning potential, the college entrance examination in China requires higher self-study ability of candidates.
