Shandong Agricultural Engineering College is an ordinary undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. At present, it undertakes general undergraduate education, general college education, adult higher education, on-the-job training of county-level leading cadres, continuing education of agricultural science and technology personnel and training of new farmers. Formerly the May 7th Cadre School of Shandong Province, it was established in June 197 1. In June 1976, it was renamed Shandong May 7th Cadre School, and in April 1979, it was renamed Shandong Agriculture and Forestry Cadre School, 1983.
