How to do a good job in primary and secondary education
Students from naive and lively primary school to junior high school have achieved a leap in life and the first leap in their career. As the head teacher of grade seven, like many teachers, he not only undertakes the heavy responsibility of understanding, educating and inspiring students, but also needs to complete a lot of complicated and important tasks in the connection between primary education and secondary education. Doing a good job in this area can shorten the "transition stage" as soon as possible, urge students to step into the normal track of middle school life as soon as possible, and lay a good foundation for the implementation of various educational plans in the school. This paper attempts to talk about my own superficial views based on my own work practice.

First, careful observation to understand the basic situation of students

Educators should first understand people. As a class teacher whose responsibility is to educate people, it is the most basic link to fully understand and master the students' ideological, cultural and physical conditions and correctly understand their own educational objects. Suhomlinski said: "Education-first of all, human studies. Without understanding his intellectual development, his thinking, interests, hobbies, talents and endowment tendencies-there is no education. " Grade seven students come from different schools, different classes, different situations and different family backgrounds, so they don't know each other very well, and teachers and classmates are even more strangers. At this time, when the school started, the school work was complicated and various tasks followed. The head teacher is as busy as a bee. Therefore, the class teacher should be a "caring person", always observe students everywhere and master first-hand information. The content of observation should include students' ideological quality, achievement level, physical quality, hobbies, specialties and so on. The way of observation can be carried out through daily performance, examination, group activities, personal conversations, class meetings, seminars, consulting files, interviewing parents, etc. The observation results should be recorded and classified as soon as possible, so as to achieve "know fairly well". For example, over the years, our school has conducted a thorough entrance examination for seventh-grade students, which has played a very good role in understanding the entrance performance of all students and facilitating teachers' targeted teaching.

Second, clear tasks and elaborate work plans.

After mastering the basic situation of students, the class teacher should make a work plan according to the requirements of the school. When making a plan, we should proceed from reality and fully reflect the integrity and gradual progress of the plan. The so-called integrity, that is, in accordance with the overall planning of junior high school education, in accordance with the requirements of all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor, does not reduce the training level; The so-called gradualism, that is, according to the actual situation of students and the development and change law of educational work, is gradually promoted from low level to high level and implemented in a distributed manner. At the beginning of school, it is imperative to unite and unify students. First of all, we must open up the situation from discipline and civilized habits. At this time, we can put forward the goal of "everyone should be disciplined and make progress", so that students can consciously abide by the Code for Middle School Students, the Code for Daily Behavior of Middle School Students, the School Rules and the Class Rules, and strive to be a qualified middle school student.

Third, be diligent in management and establish a good class spirit.

Class spirit is the mental outlook of a class. It is gradually formed among all students through long-term meticulous education and strict training, and it is a behavioral atmosphere expressed through their thoughts, words and deeds, style and habits. Many teachers with practical experience know that "the essence of education is to make students realize that they will do something in the future, give them a sense of enterprising, and make them vivid and full of vitality." In order to let the students who have just left primary school gradually reach this level, the head teacher of grade seven should work hard in this direction from the beginning of the work plan. A good class spirit requires the class teacher to cultivate carefully, be diligent in management and persevere. The main ways to cultivate a good class spirit are: (1) to establish a United, harmonious and authoritative class leadership core. (2) Organize some meaningful activities to enhance the cohesion of the class and cultivate students' sense of collective honor. The seventh grade students are still young and have the characteristics of being active, loving learning and playing. Therefore, the head teacher should make use of the situation, entertain and educate students, organize students to carry out healthy and lively activities, so that students can be refreshed, broaden their horizons, increase their knowledge and wisdom, and be United and friendly. Activities can be organized in the form of reports, seminars and cultural performances. (3) Typical guidance. The power of example is infinite. To establish a good class spirit, we can often choose some heroic and exemplary deeds to learn, commend the good deeds of our classmates, encourage everyone to start from themselves, establish lofty revolutionary ideals and noble moral sentiments from now on, and promote the formation of a good class spirit. (4) Make class rules. In order to promote the establishment of a good class atmosphere, it is necessary to make certain class rules as a code of conduct that the whole class will abide by. When making class rules, we should proceed from reality, combine the requirements of the school, and make them after discussion by the whole class. Class rules should be practical and practical. After the formulation, we should strengthen supervision and strictly abide by it.

Four, multi-party coordination, give full play to the educational role of teachers and parents of students.

Modern education is the unity of school, family and society. When connecting the education of primary and secondary school students, we should give full play to the role of the teachers in the school and the educational forces outside the school (especially the parents of students). The head teacher should be good at coordination, and often analyze the problems existing in the class and discuss countermeasures with the teacher in class, so that the teacher can ask the students from different angles, educate the students and introduce them into the track of middle school education as soon as possible. Teachers can also carry out ideological and moral education for students according to the contents of their textbooks, and cooperate with the class teacher to promote the healthy growth of students. Parents are the children's "first teachers" and the partners of the class teacher. When children enter middle school life, parents are eager to have more contact and understanding with school teachers, so as to clarify the school's training plan, so that teachers can better understand children and care about their growth. Therefore, the head teacher should make full use of interviews with parents and parent-teacher conferences to further understand the students' situation, convey the relevant requirements of the school, and strive for parents to cooperate with the work of the head teacher. In addition, the head teacher can also visit the primary school teachers to learn about the students' specific situation from the impression of the former teachers, so as to provide more conditions for future work.

In short, the connection between primary and secondary education is a complex and artistic work, which requires teachers to go all out, experience and ponder carefully, so as to make this work better, more solid and more complete.
