The initial content includes: English, ideological and political theory, dance history or art introduction. The re-examination content includes: English (English listening and speaking test), professional knowledge (professional written test and professional interview) and dance performance.

Dance major, this major trains senior professionals who can engage in dance history, dance theory research, dance teaching and choreography at home and abroad. Training requires students of this major to learn the basic knowledge of Marxist theory and be familiar with China's literary and artistic policies;
