Xiaodian district is one of the municipal districts of Taiyuan, which governs 1 town, 2 townships and 6 sub-district offices, with a total area of 295 square kilometers and a total population of 569,000. Xiaodian district, with its integration of urban and rural areas, southern agriculture and northern commerce, high-tech intensive, convenient transportation and communication, and broad development space, is the main expansion area of Taiyuan's urban development strategy of "moving south to the west and expanding north to the east", the frontier position of urbanization development in Yuci, Taiyuan, and the core area of Taiyuan's economic circle construction.
