1. Combine listening and watching. Listening is to learn current affairs and politics in the form of listening to radio and reports; Watching is to understand current affairs and politics by watching TV (news broadcast) and reading newspapers and magazines (People's Daily, semi-monthly talk). We should not only listen and watch, but also record, collect and preserve major events at home and abroad. The process of collecting and sorting is also a learning process, with convenient and flexible form, strong autonomy and deep memory.

2. Talk together and argue together. Chatting is to communicate with classmates on the basis of listening and watching, learn from each other and learn from each other's strengths; Debate means holding current political debates, asking questions, asking questions, answering questions, helping each other and complementing each other.

3. Combination of primary and secondary. When studying current affairs and politics, we must prioritize and grasp the main points. Generally speaking, domestic and international current affairs are dominated by domestic current affairs. Domestic politics, economy, sports, military, education, culture, mainly political economy, can not "pick up the sesame seeds and lose the watermelon."

4. Combine theory with practice. We should not memorize current affairs and politics by rote. We should pay attention to the combination of theory and practice, and use the theoretical knowledge we have learned to analyze practical problems in reality, such as the Three Gorges Project, socialist spiritual civilization, population, resources and environment, Scientific Outlook on Development and the establishment of a harmonious society.
