Lanzhou Xinya Middle School, founded in 1993, was founded by Liu Hongxun, the former principal of Lanzhou No.1 Middle School, a special chemistry teacher and a model worker in the national education system. It is the earliest and largest full-time private primary and secondary school in Gansu Province. Since its establishment 2 1 year ago, it has formed a school-running model integrating primary school, junior high school, senior high school and Australia-New Zealand study abroad training center.

The school is located in Yantan Industrial City, Lanzhou. The environment is elegant and quiet. Covering an area of 40 mu, it is a good place to study. The total investment of the school is more than 40 million yuan, including a magnificent middle school teaching complex, comfortable student apartments (one for six people, equipped with toilets), large restaurants, halal restaurants, characteristic primary school restaurants and toilets for more than 1500 people at the same time, a 300-person ladder classroom, a standard playground and indoor sports room, a music ballroom and a reading room, with advanced facilities and complete functions. The high-standard primary school comprehensive teaching building of the second phase of the school project was also completed and put into use in May 2000.
