Yunnan University, referred to as Dayun for short, is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province. It is a national key university mainly established by the Ministry of Education and Yunnan Province. The national "double-first-class" construction university, the 2 1 1 project, the basic capacity-building project of universities in one province and the central and western regions, and the national first-class university supported by Yunnan Province.

2. Kunming University of Science and Technology
Kunming University of Science and Technology, located in Kunming, Yunnan Province, is a key university jointly established by the Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and Yunnan Province. It has been selected into the national "11plan", the "excellent engineer education and training plan" of the Ministry of Education, the "basic capacity building project of central and western universities" and key disciplines with national characteristics.
3. Yunnan University of Finance and Economics
Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, referred to as "Cai Yun University", is located in Kunming. It is a key university in Yunnan Province, an overall construction university of high-level universities in Yunnan Province, a key organization unit of social practice activities for college students in China, a national demonstration university for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and a scholarship receiving institution of the China Municipal Government for international students in China.
4. Yunnan Normal University
Yunnan Normal University, referred to as "Yunnan Normal University", is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province. It was jointly built by People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Education and Yunnan Provincial People's Government. Three local normal universities have been selected for the national pilot reform of free normal students.
5. Yunnan Agricultural University
Yunnan Agricultural University, referred to as "Yunnan Agricultural University", is located in the Spring City-Kunming, Yunnan Province. It is a key university in Yunnan Province, and was selected into the national education and training plan for outstanding talents in agriculture and forestry and the education and training plan for outstanding engineers. It is the second batch of national demonstration universities to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, a national university with typical experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, and a national "20 1 1 plan" construction unit.
