Let Reading Make Children —— A Brief Report on Chinese Teaching and Research in Wulian Experimental Primary School in 2020
? Chinese learning is inseparable from reading, which is essential and the most important in a child's growth. It is the top priority of our Chinese teaching to let children love reading and know how to read. So we continue to study, explore and work hard.

First, the Chinese special study and training, open a new perspective of teaching

? In order to further promote the in-depth development of "Chinese subject learning" and strengthen the research of Chinese classroom teaching, our school held a training meeting on "Chinese subject learning project" in Boya lecture hall on September 17.

In this training session, the school invited Chi Guisheng, vice president of Weifang No.1 Middle School, and Ji, vice president of Weifang Mingcheng School, to give special reports. Yue, director of the Institute of Educational Science and Technology (Beijing), deputy director of the county teaching and research section, teaching researchers and Han Yumeng attended the meeting. The backbone Chinese teachers from Wulian No.2 Middle School, Experimental School, Xingzhi Experimental Primary School and Beijing Road Primary School and all Chinese teachers in our school attended the meeting.

At the meeting, President Chi Guisheng gave a special lecture on "Changing Education by Reading", explaining in detail the concept, significance and implementation process of Chinese special study to the leaders and teachers attending the meeting, and the teachers benefited a lot.

Subsequently, President Ji made a special report on the topic of "Curriculum leads development and reading achievement is wonderful". She introduced the exploration, research and fruitful achievements of Chinese reading course in Mingcheng School from the practical point of view, which opened a new perspective for teachers to read various subjects.

Later, the teachers and the participating experts had face-to-face communication on the effectiveness of reading and the arrangement of reading class hours. Combining the present situation, exploration and practical achievements of Chinese learning, the two experts answered questions for teachers and put forward reasonable suggestions.

Second, the theme learning classroom display, feel the charm of Chinese theme learning.

? After studying the Chinese theme learning project, on September 24th, our school held another classroom teaching demonstration activity of "Chinese theme learning" in Boya lecture hall.

In this class presentation activity, the school specially invited the front-line teachers of Zhucheng Mingcheng School: Director Zhang Lili, Teacher Zhao Sainan and Teacher Liu Qin to give class presentations and special reports. Yang Jianying, director of the primary school group of the teaching and research section, and Sun Xiaoyan, a researcher of primary school Chinese, attended the meeting. The new Chinese teacher in our county, all Chinese teachers in our school, some family members and parents' representatives attended the meeting.

Teacher Nan and teacher Liu Qin brought "Golden Grass" and "Parthenocissus Feet" to everyone respectively. They constructed a "30+ 10" Chinese classroom according to the five-word teaching method of "guiding, drawing, tasting, realizing and prolonging", and showed a three-dimensional Chinese classroom based on reading and taking textbooks as an example to the leaders and teachers attending the meeting. Later, Mr. Zhao gave a lecture on "Golden Grassland", and Mr. Liu Qin introduced the use of "one meter reading" from the perspective of personal experience. Subsequently, Director Zhang Lili made a special report entitled "Bright Country, Bright Future —— Talking about the Chinese Subject Learning Experiment". From a practical point of view, she shared the current situation of Chinese teaching, her own understanding of the Chinese theme learning experiment and some specific practices of Mingcheng School, which provided practical experience for the promotion of the experiment in the county. She also introduced the "one meter reading" APP with three key words: "professional, interesting and sustainable", and played a video of the operation process of teachers and parents for everyone. Finally, President Sun made a summary. She highly affirmed the experience sharing of Mingcheng School, made clear the direction of Chinese curriculum reform in our school in the next step, and called on the members of the family Committee to convey their voices to other parents.

This demonstration class is not only an in-depth training for teachers, but also a way for parents and friends to feel the charm of Chinese theme learning. After many investigations, the school will fully promote the study of Chinese subject in the next step, which will play a positive role in promoting the teaching quality and the improvement of students' core literacy.

In the autumn of September, good news spread frequently. Recently, in the seventh "Little Celebrity of Chinese Studies" Classic Reading TV Contest and the fifth consecutive contest of Chinese Poetry Conference in Rizhao City (the sixth season), all the contestants of our school performed well and won prizes. Wang Shuoxin won the championship twice in a row and the provincial championship twice. ...

On September 28th, the 7th "Little Celebrity of Chinese Studies" Classic Reading TV Contest in Rizhao City was held in the studio of Rizhao Radio and Television Station. Wang Shuoxin, a student of our school, calmly answered questions, won the first prize all the way, and obtained the only qualification for the provincial rematch of the seventh "Little Celebrity in Chinese Studies" classic TV recitation contest in Shandong Province.

In addition, four students of our school, Chen Xiangyue, Song Yi, and Cao Jiyun, won the first prize, four students of our school won the second prize, and Gao Zehao won the third prize. Meanwhile, Cao Jiyun and Chen Xiangyue won the "Best Typhoon Award", and Xu Shuo and Zhao Haoran won the "Most Popular Award".
