1995 graduated from Shanghai jiaotong university, and was admitted to Zhejiang university in the same year to study for a doctorate in engineering thermophysics. Received a doctorate in 2000. In 2002 -2003, he was engaged in postdoctoral research in CORIA, the French National Scientific Research Center. In 2007, he was promoted to professor and doctoral supervisor in 2009. Member and Secretary-General of International Cooperation Committee of China Power Engineering Society, trainer of "New Century 15 1 Talent Project" in Zhejiang Province.

The main research fields are thermal disposal technology and combustion measurement technology of solid waste. As the project leader, he has successively undertaken 2 National Natural Science Foundations, 2 National Key Basic Research and Development Program (973), National High-tech Research and Development Program (863 Program) 1 sub-project, Ministry of Education 1 doctoral program fund, returned overseas students of Ministry of Education 1 research start-up fund project, and outstanding young people in Zhejiang Province. As a major member, he participated in the major national science and technology projects 1, 2 major natural science foundation projects, 2 major national environmental protection high-tech industrialization projects 1, major scientific research projects of the Ministry of Education 1, and 2 major scientific and technological projects of Zhejiang Province. Won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1 item and 3 provincial and ministerial awards. There are nearly 50 papers published in domestic and foreign journals, including 26 SCI and 5 EI/KLOC-0. Obtained 3 invention patents and 5 utility model patents.
