Shijiazhuang University Shijiazhuang University, located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education.

The school, formerly known as Shijiazhuang Teachers College, was established in 1958. Since 1977, it has successively run schools in Gaocheng, Zhengding and Hulu Niu Shan. 1982, approved by the State Council, the school was officially named Shijiazhuang Normal University. 1983 moved to Hutuohe campus in the northern suburb of Shijiazhuang.

1996 In March, with the approval of the people's government of Hebei Province, Shijiazhuang Teachers College merged with Shijiazhuang Regional Education College and Shijiazhuang Education College to form a new Shijiazhuang Teachers College. Approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2004, it was officially upgraded to shijiazhuang university.
