The Education Bureau introduced:

1. In order to further facilitate the masses and accept social supervision, the Ministry of Education has integrated and merged more than 20 existing supervision and reporting telephones and e-mails in different business fields. Since September 3rd, the Ministry of Education has launched a 24-hour unified supervision and reporting telephone number and a unified supervision and reporting mailbox.

2. The Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) is the the State Council department in charge of education and language work in the State Council, People's Republic of China (PRC).

3. As of July 20 17, there were 9 departments in the Ministry of Education 19. The Secretariat of China National Committee for UNESCO is also located here. In addition, the Ministry of Education directly manages 15 educational social groups and organizations.

4. From 1985 to 1998, the Ministry of Education is called the State Education Commission of the People's Republic of China. The Ministry of Education in People's Republic of China (PRC) is different from the general administrative department. It is not only an administrative organization, but also an operator of public institutions of higher learning.

The main responsibilities of the Education Bureau are:

1. Fully implement the educational principles, policies and regulations of the Party and the state, study and formulate specific principles and policies for ethnic education, and organize their implementation.

2, study and formulate the national education development plan and annual development plan, formulate the focus, scale, speed and steps of education development, and implement the reform of education system.

3, responsible for the national basic education (including preschool education), special education, vocational and technical education, after-school education, adult education, higher education (including social forces running schools), coordination, guidance and supervision of the education work of districts, counties (townships) and relevant departments.

4, responsible for the construction of national teachers and education administrative cadres, responsible for the national primary and secondary school principals qualification; Participate in the formulation of relevant policies, rules and regulations on personnel management in the national education system.
