Hanchuan Special Education School is located in Xihu Road, Chengguan Town, with convenient transportation and pleasant environment. It is a school directly under Hanchuan Education Bureau, and it is a full boarding school with the education of deaf-mute and mentally retarded children as its main task.

The school was founded on 1995. In the early days, we used five small corners of the city to run classes first and build infrastructure while running classes. 1996, the new school building was completed and officially opened. Since 16, with the care and support of leaders at all levels and the great help of caring people in society, the school has grown from a dozen students in the first grade to 96 students in seven grades, and established a standardized "nine-year-long" special education school.
