Analysis:

CE is the abbreviation of "Connomite Europe" in French, and the CE mark is the quality and safety mark of equipment and products shared by EU member states.

At present, the EU has issued more than a dozen directives, covering:

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC89/336/EEC)

Machinery (MD89/392/EEC)

Radio and communication terminal (R&TTE 1999/5/EC)

Low voltage (LVD73/23/EEC)

Toys (88/378/EEC)

Medical equipment (MDD93/42/EEC, aimd 90/385/EEC)

Pressure vessels (87/404/EEC)

Products and equipment entering the EU market, according to their types and scope of use, must fully comply with all the different CE directives involved in products and equipment before they can be marked with the CE mark and exported to the EU market.

Suitable for electronic and electrical products, including household appliances, lamps, audio-visual (AV) products, IT products, electronic measuring instruments, power tools, etc. If they want to enter the EU market, they must abide by EU directives, including:

EMC electromagnetic compatibility description

EMC electromagnetic compatibility directive (EMC directive) 89/336/EEC directive mainly measures the electromagnetic interference and immunity performance of products. For different products, test according to different standards:

(1). Electromagnetic interference includes:

General standard EN6 1000-6-3

Industrial, scientific and medical RF equipment EN550 1 1

AV product EN550 13

Household appliances and electric tools EN550 14

Electrical lighting equipment EN550 15

IT product EN55022

Harmonic of AC power supply

Voltage flicker EN6 1000-3-X, etc.

(2) Electromagnetic immunity includes:

General standard EN6 1000-6- 1

Household appliances and electric tools EN550 14-2

Electrical lighting equipment EN6 1547

AV product EN55020

IT product EN55024

And other basic standards such as EN6 1000-4-X/XX.

LVD low voltage command

LVD low-voltage instruction (LVD for short) 73/223/EEC instruction is the relevant test of product safety performance.

The LVD manual mainly tests the safety performance of products, including product label, creepage distance and gap distance, electric shock protection, high voltage resistance, temperature rise and tidal state, fire resistance and flame retardancy, structural strength, etc. For different products, according to different standards for testing. Commonly used are:

EN60335 series household appliances standard

Power transformer series standard EN6 1558

IT product EN60950

EN60598 series lamps standard.

AV product EN60065

Electronic measuring instruments EN6 10 10 series

According to the standard requirements, CE/LVD testing is only required when the working voltage of the product is 50V- 1000V AC or 75V- 1500V DC.
