The professional practice of art design discipline usually includes professional practice, professional social investigation and professional practice. 1. Professional Practice Art Design Professional Practice is a comprehensive practical course offered by senior students, which aims to help students adapt to the employment environment as soon as possible and explore their social orientation. On the one hand, it is a platform for students to apply and practice the knowledge and skills they have learned in school, and it is a comprehensive test of their four-year professional learning level; On the other hand, it can help students to integrate into the social grassroots, gain social life experience, realize their own value, shape and improve their personality. In short, it is an attempt for students to go from school to society, to exercise their comprehensive ability in the attempt and to continue to mature and develop in the attempt. Art design is a practical subject, and its nature determines that it must take the road of serving the society, and the fundamental way out for serving the society lies in going deep into society and production. After three years' study of professional theory, professional foundation and professional skills, undergraduates have mastered the basic design theory and have certain design ability, but they have not experienced the process from design to product, and their knowledge and experience in specific application are extremely lacking. For example, for a large outdoor print advertisement, there will be a huge difference between the sample in the computer and the actual finished product. Finished products need to pay attention to the coordination with the environment and visual impact. Grasping these differences requires sufficient practical experience. Another example is the modeling and furniture size in interior design. There are some experiences summarized by predecessors in textbooks, but there is no lack of flexibility in practical application, such as how the size of the same shape changes in different environments, and whether the design of the same piece of furniture can be innovative without being bound by ergonomics and traditional shapes. The acquisition of these flexibility also needs full practice. In particular, the use of production materials can be said to be a fatal injury to students. As far as interior design is concerned, there are hundreds of kinds of wood veneer and floor veneer. Their decorative patterns, performances, grades, prices and how to use them are all very important for a designer, and this knowledge needs more practical experience. Therefore, students must go deep into the production line and fully understand the production process. To this end, the first problem to be solved is "choosing the internship place". Due to the objective conditions of the professional internship accepting units, the professional internship units are generally determined by means of school recommendation, employment by employers, and students' own contact. The selected internship unit should have strength and vitality, and can provide students with a high-level technical platform, a lively production site and sufficient practical opportunities. The second problem to be solved is "choosing an internship tutor". In addition to contacting designers with higher professional level as students' tutors, students should also be reminded to learn from every team member around them. Every designer has his own specialty, even the master worker. They have summed up many standardized and effective methods in the long-term production and construction process, which can't be learned in textbooks. In the process of professional practice, students should also take the initiative to report the practice to the instructor, so as to get timely guidance from teachers in all aspects. At the same time, the instructor should conduct on-the-spot investigation in time, supervise and inspect the students' practice, and give effective guidance. Art design practice is an indispensable part of graduation design. Graduation design is the concentrated expression of undergraduate's four-year academic performance, and it is also the last "classroom assignment" submitted by an undergraduate during his school days. Professional practice is related to graduation design, which is the prelude and gestation period of graduation design and one of the important sources of graduation design theme and content. Therefore, the third problem to be solved is to "determine the internship content". The basic guiding principle of practice is to apply the content of classroom learning to practice, which should have distinctive professional characteristics and not advocate the practice unrelated to the content of professional learning. In the process of practice, we should help students to straighten their positions, adjust their mentality, correctly handle various contradictions that may be encountered in their study and work, coordinate the relationship between schools and practice units, remind students to pay attention to their work around them, inspire students to discover and explore various potential topics and research projects in their work, and guide students to organically combine professional practice with graduation design. These are all important contents of practical teaching. Second, the professional social investigation is an important teaching activity to help students understand and adapt to the market. Art design is a subject closely related to the development of social times and human economic activities. People engaged in art design will be mercilessly abandoned by the market if they don't have keen market awareness. Art design discipline should attach importance to the combination of teaching and market, pay attention to and study the characteristics of current economic development, dynamically collect and sort out market information, so as to make teaching activities clear and teaching content rich but not vague. The main contents of social investigation include social environment investigation, market operation investigation and occupation (industry) situation investigation. Among them, social environment can be subdivided into political environment and economic environment, that is, all social and economic activities.
