What is the difference between a network matrix and a decoder? Which is more applicable?
The difference between network matrix and decoder;

The traditional splicing screen is only a display function in previous projects, and the signal line is complex and inconvenient to manage;

Network full matrix splicing screen, also called DMD splicing screen, integrates display and control system, replaces all functions such as matrix, decoder and processor, and is convenient for management and future upgrade, so network full matrix is more suitable.

(1) "Network Matrix" is to replace the video input mode in the analog matrix with video coding software, replace the analog electric switch with digital high-speed processing CPU, replace the video input module in the analog matrix with video decoding software, replace the analog matrix host with network matrix host, replace the analog bus with IP network based on TCP/IP protocol, and switch the video from input to output with computer high-speed processing chip operation.

(2) A decoder is a multi-input multi-output combinational logic circuit in electronic technology, which is responsible for translating binary codes into specific objects, and its function is opposite to that of an encoder. Decoders are generally divided into general decoders and digital display decoders. In digital circuits, it can act as a multi-input and multi-output logic gate, converting coded input into coded output, in which the codes of input and output are different. The input enable signal must be connected to the decoder to work normally, otherwise the output will be an invalid codeword.
