The cultural resources of Mongolian merchants (Shanxi merchants) are represented by the former site of Qiao Guifa and Qiaojiajin Street. Multi-religious cultural resources are represented by Miu Fat Monastery, mosques, Catholic churches and Christian churches, especially Miu Fat Monastery, which is the largest temple in the Han nationality Buddhism, Inner Mongolia, with an annual reception of 3 million people. Red tourism resources, represented by Wang Ruofei Memorial Hall, the former site of Baotou Municipal Committee and Fuzheng Temple, are now patriotic education bases for young people.
Baotou Nanhai Wetland Scenic Area-covers an area of 2,000 hectares, including 580 hectares of water and 0/1,000 hectares of wet grassland. It is a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot and an autonomous region-level wetland nature reserve.
Dongba Wetland Ecological Park in Baotou City-located in the north of Dongba Village in Shaerqin Town, is an important wetland ecosystem in the east of the city, integrating tourism, catering and entertainment, and belongs to the wetland area along the Yellow River.
Ashan site-located to the east of Ashan Goumen. 1979 was discovered by Baotou Cultural Relics Management Office, and was officially excavated in 198 1 year. With the expansion, the exposed area is1170m2. 24 foundations, 220 caves and 3 tombs were excavated, and more than 600 pieces of cultural relics/kloc-0 were unearthed, as well as a large number of animal bones, stones and charcoal.
