On the afternoon of May 30th, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Youth Science and Technology Festival in Chongming District was held in the theater of Chongming District Youth Activity Center, sponsored by the CPC Shanghai Chongming District Education Party Working Committee, Chongming District Education Bureau, Chongming District Science and Technology Committee and Chongming District Science and Technology Association. In the theater of the District Youth Activity Center, students Chen and Zhou Shuling of Chongming Middle School show the award-winning works of scientific and technological innovation. The detailed data collection and rigorous argumentation process won unanimous praise from the experts and audience present, and also reflected the level and achievements of Chongming students in the field of scientific and technological innovation of young people in the city. In the auditorium of Dongmen Middle School, the students listened attentively to the novel and interesting frontier lectures of science and technology brought by Beidou navigation experts.
On the playground of Dongmen Primary School, the experience area of theme activities such as "knowing flowers", "looking for flowers", "painting flowers", "applique" and "picking flowers" is crowded with people. Students draw colorful flowers with their paintings, post the most beautiful campus with leaves and branches, and record the interesting moments of the science and technology festival with photos.
The characteristic schools of various projects also brought fun and interesting results display and interactive games: knowledge quiz, drone performance, robot catching ... Students not only gained flower knowledge, but also experienced the fun of creation and exploration.
