Present situation of children's English research
Abstract: Due to different English textbooks and cultural environments, children's English lacks a unified theory in terms of syllabus. The teacher analyzed the problems existing in children's English education in China at present and how to effectively carry out children's English education, pointing out that children's English education needs multi-party participation in order to effectively promote children's English learning.

With China's accession to the WTO and the implementation of the policy of opening to the outside world, under the new situation of rapid development, there are more and more exchanges between China and the international community, which makes people realize the importance of English teaching, and at the same time, they are constantly exploring new methods of English teaching. Scientific research shows that early childhood is a sensitive period of language development. With the development of children's central nervous system, it is helpful to promote second language information and improve children's language learning ability.

First, the purpose, object and method of the study

(1) Research purpose. With the continuous acceleration of China's reform and opening up, the communication between China and other countries is deepening day by day. English has become an important carrier of communication between countries, and English education has also received a lot of attention. Nowadays, preschool English education has been paid more and more attention. As English educators for young children, our English education is obligatory. This paper aims to analyze the problems existing in children's English education in China at present and how to effectively carry out children's English education. This is of great practical significance to the development of English education in China.

(2) Research object. The main research object of this paper is to select local kindergarten students and teachers and promote the development of disciplines with the help of geographical advantages. In this paper, teachers and students in local kindergartens are taken as the research objects to study English education for young children.

(3) Research methods. In the course of this study, the present situation of English education in several local kindergartens was analyzed by means of observation, literature review and interview.

Second, the research process

(1) Current situation of children's English teaching. Kindergarten English textbooks are not uniform, and the choice of teaching methods is different. Therefore, children's English teaching has different requirements for children. For example, the focus of English teaching in kindergarten is to let children know that English is an interesting language, and then make them interested in learning English. However, this method is easy for children to misunderstand and make them feel that games are the most important in the learning process. If games can't arouse children's interest, they can't achieve the goal of making children like English.

(2) Analysis of children's English teaching. There are many similarities in language teaching. If we put our children in Britain, they will naturally accept English. Similarly, if British children are placed in China, they will have no difficulty in learning Chinese. In the early stage of children's English education, there is no requirement for writing, only language communication is required. The goal of children's English education is only to communicate and lay a good foundation for children to learn English in the future. Therefore, kindergartens need to strengthen children's English education.

1) Create a comfortable and natural English environment and entertain and educate. To improve the effect of English learning, we need a relatively good language learning environment first. In such an environment, children will have a familiar feeling, which will make them feel safe in the learning process and help them learn to accept English. However, through investigation, it is found that many children's English learning environment is not very stable, which affects their enthusiasm for learning English to some extent. Therefore, teachers should create a comfortable environment for children according to the existing conditions and let them experience the fun of learning English. English is a language subject. Learning English is for communication, not for exams. In English teaching, teachers should let children experience the fun of learning English in the process of communication and teach them how to communicate in English. Teachers can set a specific environment for children to wear foreign clothes and perform foreign cultural performances. At the same time, let the children communicate in English and imitate some foreign storylines. This will not only enable children to learn to communicate in English, but also let them feel the humanistic feelings of foreign countries.

2) Stimulate and cultivate interest in learning. According to my practical teaching experience, the biggest difficulty for children in the process of learning English is lack of interest. Interest is the psychological characteristic that people tend to certain things and phenomena. If children are interested in English, then their study will be motivated. So in this research process, I mainly discuss how to make children feel the fun of learning English in the process of learning English, so as to stimulate their interest. The process of children's learning English is also the process of interest cultivation, and teachers should attach importance to cultivating children's interest. Through research, it is found that adding elements of game activities in the teaching process can effectively stimulate children's interest in learning English. Through games, children can overcome the obstacles of English and gradually accept English psychologically, instead of rejecting it blindly. In addition, through game activities, children's enthusiasm can be stimulated and their practical ability can be cultivated. Early childhood education is not to instill knowledge into children blindly, but more importantly, to teach them learning methods and exercise their practical ability. During the game, teachers encourage children to speak English loudly, and then correct their English through the game environment, which makes education entertaining and achieves twice the result with half the effort. Teachers can also encourage children to actively participate in games and teach children to learn English through games in the following ways. First, in the first half of the class, teachers can interact with games. Teachers can play some cartoons with English as the communication language, or some English nursery rhymes, which can stimulate children's interest in learning English. Second, when teachers are in class, they can ask questions to children through games. The third is to show new knowledge with games. Teachers can display new knowledge through physical objects, pictures, wall charts, stick figures, gestures and other intuitive teaching methods.

Third, the research conclusion

Through research, it is found that English education in China has been popularized. Especially in first-tier cities, English education has been effectively carried out in kindergartens. Children's English education is a step-by-step process, which requires children to accumulate continuously. Teachers should stimulate children's enthusiasm for learning English through scientific and effective teaching methods. At the same time, parents should have a scientific attitude, and don't put forward higher requirements for their children, so that they will lose the fun of learning English. Therefore, children's English education needs various participation, as long as this can effectively promote their great enthusiasm for learning English.
