The mass line is the basic line of our party and the basic line and fine tradition of public security work. In the new historical period, it is of great significance to inherit and carry forward this fine tradition and study and explore new ways for public security work to adhere to the mass line, so as to further strengthen relations for the people, establish a lofty image of people's leadership inspection, improve the combat effectiveness of the public security team, strengthen the struggle against the enemy, rectify social order and maintain social stability. First, raising awareness and strengthening the concept of the masses is the ideological guarantee for adhering to the mass line of public security work in the new period. In recent years, although we have done some work in implementing the mass line, there are still some unsatisfactory places, which directly affect the image of the public security team and the implementation of the mass line. To sum up, there are mainly six outstanding problems: First, the concept of the mass line is weak. Some Ganpu think that "the masses are backward, it is difficult to start, and the mass line is out of date." Second, a small number of cadres are dishonest, demanding bribes, interacting with people, playing with privileges, and even beating and scolding the masses, which has seriously damaged the relations between the people. Third, some cadres have no concept and consciousness of serving the people, and their attitude towards the masses is "cold, hard and horizontal", which hurts the hearts of the masses. The fourth is low quality. In recent years, the composition of the public security team is complicated, and a group of new comrades have taken up their posts without training, and they don't understand public security business, let alone mass work, which makes the masses lose confidence in the police.
