Articles of Association of China Musicians Association (deliberated and adopted by the Seventh National Congress of China Musical Association on February/2009 15)

general rule

Article 1 The China Musicians Association is a professional people's organization led by China and composed of musicians of all ethnic groups in China. It is a bridge and link between the party and the government and the music industry, and an important force for the prosperity of socialist literature and art and the development of advanced culture.

Article 2 Under the guidance of Marxism–Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents, China Musicians' Association fully implements Scientific Outlook on Development, adheres to the literary and artistic direction of "serving the people and socialism", implements the policy of "letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend", carries forward the main theme and advocates diversity. Hold high the banner, focus on the center, serve the people, reform and innovate, unite musicians and musicians, prosper and develop the socialist music industry, and work hard to build a harmonious socialist society and promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Article 3 This Association shall abide by the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and various national laws and regulations, and carry out activities in accordance with its articles of association. Strive to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of members.

Article 4 This Association has the responsibility of liaison, coordination and service to its members, and plays the role of organization, guidance, service and rights protection.

Article 6 Organize members to go deep into life and carry out creative activities. Article 7 Organize competitions and awards such as the China Music Golden Bell Award to reward and commend outstanding music creation, performance and theoretical achievements, as well as musicians who have made significant contributions to music education and other music work.

Article 9 Organize academic seminars to promote the improvement and development of criticism and theoretical work. Run music publications well, and strive to reflect the present situation and achievements of music creation, performance, theory and education.

Article 10 Organize members to collect, sort out and study the musical cultural heritage of the people of all ethnic groups in China, and inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of national music.

Article 12 Promote and strengthen contacts and exchanges with music groups and musicians of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region, Taiwan Province Province and overseas Chinese, and make contributions to promoting the excellent culture of the Chinese nation and promoting the reunification of the motherland.

Article 13 Promote international musical cultural exchanges, enhance unity and friendship with musicians from various countries, and make contributions to the development of world musical culture.

Fourteenth strengthen cooperation with relevant government departments and all sectors of society, and vigorously develop the music culture industry according to national policies.

Fifteenth respect for labor, respect for knowledge, respect for talents, respect for creation, discover and cultivate new forces, and develop contributing musicians to join clubs.

Sixteenth China Musicians Association implements individual members and group members.

Seventeenth provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, Xinjiang production and Construction Corps Musicians Association are group members. The music associations affiliated to the All-China Federation of Industry and Literature agree to the articles of association, and apply for it. With the approval of the presidium of the Chinese Music Association, they can become group members of the association. The cultural authorities of the China People's Liberation Army and the Chinese People's Armed Police Force are regarded as members of the group.

Article 18 All musicians who have People's Republic of China (PRC) nationality and have made certain achievements in music work are in favor of the articles of association. I submit an application, which is introduced by two members of the Chinese Music Association and recommended by the member units of the group or the designated institutions of the association. After being approved by the Association and fulfilling the necessary procedures, he can become a member of China Music Association.

Musicians from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions agree to the articles of association of the Association, and can become individual members of the Association upon their own application, recommendation by relevant parties, approval of the Association and completion of formalities.

The detailed rules of membership conditions shall be formulated separately according to the articles of association, and shall be organized and implemented by the leading body of the conference after being approved by the presidium.

Article 19 Members have the obligation to abide by the articles of association, implement the resolutions of the association, participate in the activities of the association, safeguard the rights and interests of the association and pay the membership fees on time. Members have the right to vote and stand for election, and have the right to supervise, criticize and make suggestions on the work of this association. Members have the freedom to withdraw from the meeting.

Twentieth serious violation of the articles of association or violation of the criminal law due to illegal crimes, through discussion and approval by the presidium of the association, cancel its membership.

Twenty-first Taiwan Province compatriots and overseas Chinese musicians who have made special contributions to China's music industry may be awarded honorary advisers, honorary directors and honorary members upon examination and approval.

Article 22 The organizing principle of this Association is democratic centralism. The highest authority of this Association is the National Congress, and its functions and powers are:

1. Decide on the working principles and tasks of the Association;

2. Review the work report;

3. To formulate and revise the articles of association of China Musicians Association;

4. Election of leading bodies;

5. Decide on other important matters.

Article 23 Deputies to the National Congress shall be elected by members of various organizations and relevant units, and some specially invited representatives shall be determined according to the situation. The person in charge of the daily work of each team member is the representative of the national congress of the team member and the director candidate representing the team member. The directors representing the group members are elected by the group members after the work changes, and reported to the presidium of this association for the record.

Article 24 The Congress elects the Council. The Council shall elect a chairman and several vice-chairmen, who shall form the presidium. The presidium shall have one secretary-general and several deputy secretaries-general.

When the National Congress is not in session, the Council implements the resolutions of the National Congress. When the Council is not in session, the presidium exercises the functions and powers of the Council.

The vice chairman of the association presides over the daily work of the association.

Article 25 The National Congress is convened every five years, and it may be convened in advance or postponed when necessary. The Council shall be convened irregularly and presided over by the presidium. The meeting of the presidium shall be presided over by the chairman or the vice-chairman entrusted by the chairman, and may be convened at any time as required.

Article 26 The Association shall establish honorary posts such as honorary chairman and consultant, which shall be recommended or hired by the presidium. Those who hold honorary positions will no longer serve as directors.

Article 27 The sources of funds of this Association are: state appropriations, membership fees, social sponsorship and other lawful income.

Article 28 The funds and assets of this Association are protected by law, and no unit or individual may occupy or misappropriate them.

Article 29 The English name of the Association is China Musicians Association (CMA for short), and its meeting place is located in Beijing.

Article 30 The Articles of Association shall be discussed and approved by the National Congress of the Association, and the right to amend it belongs to the National Congress of the Association. The right to interpret these Articles of Association belongs to China Musicians Association.
